Eligibility
CITIZENSHIP: Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
Qualifications
Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and a minimum of 55% marks
in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Admissions
General Category
Admissions are done on the basis of rank in an all India
EPSI National Admission Test (ENAT 09).
NOTE: Only candidates who have secured minimum of 50% marks taken
together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in ENAT 09 will be considered
for admissions to BDS course.
Foreign/NRI Category
Admissions under this category are handled by a separate
office.
Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI category.
Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will
not be entertained under any circumstances.

GROUP I: Applicable to BDS course.
Test Pattern
The test duration is of 2.30 hours and consists of 240 multiple
choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type. The approximate distribution
of questions is as follows: Physics - 60 questions, Chemistry -
60 questions, Biology - 80 questions, English & General Aptitude
- 40 questions.
ENAT 09 SYLLABUS
The test papers in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General English
includes questions based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major
10+2 Boards/Universities.

Merit List
Based on the marks obtained in ENAT 09, Manipal University will
declare the merit list of all candidates who have appeared for the
entrance test. The merit list will be displayed on or before 25.05.09
in the website. In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal
marks, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined
on the basis of higher marks in the order of preference as under:
• Biology in ENAT 09
• Physics in ENAT 09
• Chemistry in ENAT 09
• PCB marks in 10+2
