The Post Graduate Diploma in Audio Programme Production (PGDAPP) is aimed to address this need by imparting both theoretical and practical skills. The programme keeps in view the requirements of various production centres, media units of government and non-government organisations and media centres interested in getting their staff members trained in audio production.
Objectives of the Programme
The broad objective of the programme is to prepare professionals with the skills to conceive, plan and produce audio programmes. After going through the programme the learners should be able to:
- conceive and plan audio programmes;
- develop scripts in a variety of radio formats;
- produce and present audio programmes; and
- manage radio stations.
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject is eligible for enrolment in PGDAPP programme.
Min age as on 1st Jan. of the Academic Year
There is no age bar for learners keeping in view the IGNOU philosophy of democratisation of education.
This programme is offerred in English and Hindi medium.
The minimum duration of this programme is 1 year and the maximum duration is 4 years.
The total fee of the programme is Rs 6,000/ payable in one instalment. The programme fee is to be paid only by way of demand draft drawn in the name of IGNOU and payable at the city where the Regional Centre is situated.
