IGNOU Doctor of Philosophy in Library and Information Science (Ph.D)

This doctoral studies programme aims at career in academics or for higher positions in national, university, or research libraries and information centres. This programme consists of only thesis work and involves no course-work. It is offered in ENGLISH medium.

Eligibility

55% marks in Post-Graduation (50% in case of SC/ST) and, M.Phil. in the relevant subject/allied discipline from a recognized university / recognized institution of higher learning OR 5 years of Teaching /industry /administration /professional experience at senior level and having made demonstrable contribution.

The program fee of Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Ph.D) is Rs. 10,000.
