IGNOU BLIS Bachelor in Library and Information Science

Eligibility

i) Second Class Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks.

OR

ii) Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Library Science.

OR

iii) Bachelor’s Degree with two years of working experienceb in a Library and Information Centre.

OR

iv) Bachelor’s Degree in a Professional area such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Law etc.

Duration

The programme has been designed for a minimum duration of one year. Thus, a student can complete this programme within a minimum period of one year or a maximum period of four years. In case of failure to do so, the student will be required to re-register by paying the prescribed programme fee.
